Summer Series:
The 5 W's of Course Creation

Finally create that course you've been thinking about all year

You know the one. The course you keep saying you'll create "when things slow down" or "when you have it all figured out."

But things don't slow down on their own.
And you don't need to have it all figured out to start.

What you need is a clear roadmap that breaks course creation down into manageable, doable pieces.

That's exactly what the Summer Series does.

This isn't another "course about courses"
filled with theory

These are working sessions where you'll make real progress on your actual course idea.

No fluff. No cookie-cutter formulas. No thinly veiled sales pitches.

Just practical, actionable guidance that helps you turn your expertise into something that truly serves your people.

Each session covers one essential piece of the course creation puzzle:

🗓️ June 26 - WHO: Finding your sweet spot between 1:1 and courses
Because your ideal client isn't ready for your course at every stage of their journey

🗓️ July 10 - WHAT: Mining gold from your 1:1 sessions
The content for your best course is hiding in plain sight in your client work

🗓️ July 24 - WHEN: Timing your course creation
How to know when you're ready (and when your people are ready)

🗓️ August 7 - WHERE: Choosing your platform without overwhelm
Cutting through the noise to find what actually works for YOU

🗓️ August 21 - HOW: Building real engagement
Creating connection and transformation, not just information dumps

Why
this
series?

I see the same patterns over and over:

People get stuck because they try to figure out everything at once instead of taking it step by step.

They create courses that try to teach everything they know instead of focusing on one clear transformation.

They choose platforms based on features instead of what actually makes sense for their life and their students.

This series works on all of that.

We're breaking course creation down into the five essential questions every course creator needs to answer. Answer these clearly, and everything else becomes obvious.

Individual sessions:

WHO (June 26) - Finding Your Sweet Spot Between 1:1 and Courses

There's a trend of coaches swinging back to 1:1 work after years of being told courses were the answer to everything. But it doesn't have to be either/or. In this session, we'll explore how to create the right balance between one-on-one client work and group offerings that serve your people at different stages while keeping you energized.

We'll dive deep into understanding not just who your ideal client is, but where they are in their journey and how their brain works when they're stressed or overwhelmed. You'll leave with clarity on exactly who your course should serve and how it fits into your overall business model.

What you'll walk away with:

  • Clear understanding of your ideal student's readiness stage

  • Framework for balancing 1:1 and group work sustainably

  • Client Brain Profile template for understanding how your people actually learn

  • Insight into when someone is (and isn't) ready for what you're offering

WHAT (July 10) - Mining Gold from Your 1:1 Sessions

Your best course content isn't something you need to invent—it's already hiding in your client sessions. In this detective-style workshop, we'll help you recognize the patterns, solutions, and frameworks you've naturally developed through your one-on-one work.

We'll focus on identifying what's truly course-worthy versus just good advice, and how to narrow down your expertise into one focused transformation instead of trying to teach everything you know.

What you'll walk away with:

  • Recognition of the repeating patterns in your client work

  • Clear understanding of what makes content course-worthy

  • Your top course topic identified and refined into one clear outcome

  • Pattern Detective Worksheet and Goldmine Journey Map templates

  • Confidence that you DO have something valuable to teach

WHEN (July 24) - Timing Your Course Creation

Readiness isn't about how much you know—it's about how much you've helped. But knowing when you're ready is only half the equation. We also need to consider when your people are ready to learn what you want to teach.

This session covers the real signs of readiness (for both you and your audience), how to scope your course appropriately, and how to plan something that energizes rather than drains you.

What you'll walk away with:

  • Clear assessment of your actual readiness level

  • Understanding of your audience's readiness stage

  • Right-sized course scope that won't overwhelm you or your students

  • Course Readiness Assessment and Scope Planner templates

  • Realistic timeline for creation and launch

WHERE (August 7) - Choosing Your Platform Without Overwhelm

Platform paralysis is real, but it's also curable. The truth is, the platform matters way less than you think—your content and connection with your people matter infinitely more.

In this session, we'll cut through the endless comparison articles and give you a clear framework for choosing based on what actually matters: your tech comfort level, your students' needs, your teaching style, and your business goals.

What you'll walk away with:

  • Clear platform choice that fits your actual needs

  • Platform Decision Matrix template for easy decision-making

  • Understanding of what features you actually need vs. nice-to-haves

  • Confidence that you've made the right choice for where you are now

  • Permission to choose "good enough" over "perfect"

HOW (August 21) - Building Real Engagement

Engagement isn't about bells and whistles—it's about making people feel seen, understood, and capable of succeeding. Real engagement happens when someone thinks: "This person gets me. This actually applies to my situation. I can do this."

We'll explore how to create meaningful connection and transformation regardless of which platform you're using, and how to design for different learning styles without creating chaos.

What you'll walk away with:

  • Understanding of what creates real engagement vs. superficial interaction

  • Strategy for designing content that works for different types of brains

  • Framework for creating progress markers that motivate rather than overwhelm

  • Engagement Planning Worksheet and Course Structure Template

  • Clear plan for the learning experience you want to create

FAQs

What if I can't make the live sessions?

No problem! Every session is recorded and you'll get access to the replay within 24 hours. You also get all the worksheets and templates whether you attend live or catch up later.

What's the difference between individual sessions and the complete series?

Individual sessions let you focus on specific areas where you're stuck. The complete series gives you the full roadmap plus the bonus Q&A session where we troubleshoot your specific questions. If you're starting from scratch, the complete series is your best bet.

What if I'm not tech-savvy? Will I be able to keep up?

These sessions focus on strategy and planning, not technical implementation. When we cover platforms in the WHERE session, I'll give you a simple framework for choosing based on your comfort level. No coding or complex tech required.

Is this just a sales pitch for your other programs?

Nope. These are genuine working sessions designed to help you make real progress. I might mention my one-on-one Blueprint Sessions at the end for people who want more personalized help, but the workshops stand alone and give you everything you need to move forward.

I don't have a course idea yet. Is this still helpful?

Absolutely. The WHO and WHAT sessions are specifically designed to help you identify what you should teach based on your existing client work. Many people discover their course idea during these sessions.

Do I need to have clients already to benefit from this?

The WHAT session works best if you've helped a few people solve similar problems (even informally), but the other sessions are valuable regardless. If you're brand new, focus on the WHO session to get clear on your direction first.
